60th Birthday Events in KL

In Malaysia, KL Chinese Assembly Hall celebration with ~200 attendance was participated by Malaysia Member of Parliment Theresa Kok with Burmese activists Dr Richard Thong, Ko Latt & Dr. Naing Linn (NLD LA, Malaysia).

This event was successfully completed with many international media presence.

Out door activity is more difficult in Malaysia. Un-like USA, Australia and Japan, Police is alway arresting. Presently, 70 Burmese are detained at Malaysia Burmese Embassy Protest. ..

You can get these T-shirts free at "Dan Dar Yee Store" - Level 4 - Peninsular Plaza, City Hall. Small, Medium and Large sizes are available. You can get as many T-shirts as you want for your loved ones, friends and yourself. It is totally free of charge.

Nevertheless, if you want to contribute to do merit on our Leader's Birthday, you can put your donation into the donation box at the store. But, please take note that there is no obligation. You can donate as much as you want or you can even decide not to.

These T-shirts are published to commemorate 60th Birthday of Myanmar Democracy Leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. Her Birthday ceremony will be held at Burmese Buddhist Temple at Toa Payoh on 19 June 2005 during lunch hours.

Supporters of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi are warmly invited to the ceremony. They are also strongly encouraged to request dedication songs to her in radio stations, MTV and Burmese Internet Radios on 17, 18 and 19 June 2005.

The group of Burmese youth celebrated the 60th birthday of Aung San Suu Kyi on June 19, 1000 to 1500 hrs at Burmese Buddhist Temple ( toa payoh) http://www.bbt.org.sg/
This round, a lot of Burmese celebrated with a Memo collection book.
Usually, Singapore police watch around the tample. This time, no police man were seen and event was peacefully completed. Un-fortunately, Peninsula plaza become empty sunday due to many police escort loitering around.
