  Hi Friends

Now a massive signature campaign is going on inside Burma to free Daw Suu, U Khon Tun Oo, 88 generation student leaders who are arrested recently, and 1000 plus political prisoners. To join forces with this internal campaign, burmese in other countries around the world are also launching similar campaigns in their respective countries of residence. Now is a high time for us, burmese nationals residing in Singapore, to join this international campaign originated inside Burma, where people are doing what they ought to do under the watch of one of the most brutal regimes of the world.

You can print out the petition letter together with the table (attached) and collect signatures from burmese nationals around you who support this freedom campaign.

Best Regards

Subject: [dassk-supporters] Petition for the release of 88 generation student leaders

Dear all,
We have drafted the both the English and Burmese version of the petition. We make the table format for the signatures the same as that of 88 generation student's petitiion. Therefore, at the end of the signature campaign, we will be able to send the signatures to the UNSC member countries as well as the copies to the originator of the student's petitiion (i.e adding numbers to the student's petition coming from inside Burma). Two birds with one stone!
Therefore, please print out the table and the Burmese version for the people around to sign. For address column, you can either include your email address or simply "Singapore". After collecting the signatures, you can contact us at the following numbers to pass the list to us.

(1) Ko Win Myint (65 9794***)
(2) Ko Paw @ Aung Naing Moe (65 9799***)

We will also continue to collect the signatures at this weekend. I attached both MSword doc (with Wwin_Burmese font) and pdf format with font embedded.)

With best regards,
Ko Paw.

Dear all,

Attached MP3 file is last night's dvb interview with Ko Win Myint regarding the Oway (Singapore)'s statement.
With more arrests yesterday, it is the duty of us, all Burmese, to protest the Junta's abuse.
The most important thing is we need to show that we are not happy with the Junta's abuse and the junta's prolonged stay in power.
With best regards,
Ko Paw @ Aung Naing Moe
