Memory of Singapore Event for Dipeyin Blood

================
If we don't know what the basic human rights are,
we can not know which basic human rights we are
deprived of in Burma. Therefore, I put those Universal
Declaration of Human Rights at the end of my email.
And I would like to tell you why I support Daw
Aung San Suu Kyi.
(1) She is very honest (having political
integrity )like her father, Bogyoke Aung San.
(2) She is very resolute in her struggle for Democracy
as her father was quite resolute for Burma's
independence.
(3) She really loves our people. She sacrifices her
life for our people.
(4) She is very intelligent and has great leadership
skills.
Therefore, I regard her as our people's leader.
It is important to note that the strength of a
leader depends on the strength of his/her supporters.
Bogyoke could demand Independence from British
because the whole Burma was behind him. It was with
the people's power that he led Burma into
Independence.
Now, our Leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is under
house arrest. If we can not make her free, we must
admit that we are not good enough to deserve such a
great leader. After all there is a saying: "People get
the government they deserve".
If we really want Democracy and prosperity in
Burma, we must first make our leader free. We must
make our leader strong. We must show that we are
strong.
You may want to know how we can show our strength
from Singapore. Here are things we can do.
(1) Make your stand known to people around you. You
can frankly support NLD as a citizen of Burma.
It is not a crime to do politics. Dee Doke U Ba Cho
has once written: " Politics is about everybody in the
country. Those who do the politics are those who
fulfill their responsibilities as citizens. Those who
stay away from politics are just the lice of country
(meaning just a burden to the country). Those who
obstruct people from doing politics are the No.1
enemies of the country."
(2) You can frankly criticize the wrong policies of
the present government. After all, you are a good tax
payer. You can question what you think is unfair
policy.
(3) There are several brave men and women in Burma who
are serving the unjust long jail terms because of
their belief in Democracy. We need to support their
families financially and morally. You can do it
individually or collectively.
(4) Actively engage in the events and functions held
by pro-democracy groups here. Don't worry. You will
get emails and SMS messages beforehand about the
events.
Lets start working together for our beloved
country. Let's do it for our rights. Lets do it for
our children. Lets do it for our brothers and sisters.
If we don't do our part now, we are responsible
for the suffering of the present and future
generations.
With best regards,
