As many of you know, Cyclone Nargis battered Burma/Myanmar ("Burma") on 2-May-2008.  According to the United Nations, an estimated 24 million peope live in the affected area, including 6 million people in Yangon.
Although the information of reported deaths very drammatically, the Burmese government has reported 22,464 dead  and 41,2000 missing(US estimate on 7May is ~100 thousands dead).  The UN estimates that up to 1 million people are in need of shelter. Access to clean, safe water and other basic necessities are also priorities.
